I recently was asked if I would like to receive a copy of the new children's book The Bubble by Brian D. McClure to read and review. Of course I would. I love children's books. After reading this book to my grandchildren several times, I am willing to pass this book on to one of my readers. If you would like a chance to win this thought provoking children's book, leave comments on my blog throughout the month of March. You may be the lucky grandparent or parent to read this book to your child. I even pay to ship it to you. Spread the word.
The Bubble by Brian D. McClure
This is a story about a little boy who does not want to share his toys with anyone. They are his and he doesn't want anyone touching or even looking at his things. (Sound familiar?) This little boy grows into a man retaining this selfish attitude. He obtains many valuable possessions but does not want to share with anyone. Eventually, he finds that everyone and everything begin to leave him. Still he repeats, "Everything is mine. I don't want anyone looking at or touching my things."
This doesn't work very well for the, now, old man. He is lonely and sad. Of course the book has a cute twist and the little boy awakens. He awakens with a new attitude and appreciation for everything and everyone. The lesson this book teaches is that we are all connected to everything and everyone in the world.
Remember, leave comments on any or all posts during the month of March to increase your chance to win this meaningful children's book. Make sure I have a way to contact you by email in case you are the winner. (You do not need to be a grandparent raising grandchildren to win.)
Good Luck,

It sounds like a superb book, and one I'd love to read to my grandchildren. Funnily enough, I just blogged today about the importance of books in the lives of the grandchildren we cherish.

This does sound like a grand book to read to grandchildren. I'm happy that you are getting back in the swing of blogging after your recent crisis. You have so much to share with grandparents, and not just grandparents who are raising grandchildren.
