One of my readers asked if the following question. "IF the mom of the children move in and give us custody till she gets on her feet, will we still have the help with financing. She said she will help but, I heard that before . WHat is a grandmother and mother to do?
As for the assistance that I am aware of the answer to this questions is NO, you will not get government assistance if the parent lives with you as well. But since I don't know exactly what financial help you are receiving, you need to ask the agencies that is helping you. They will know if you will continue to get assistance if your daughter moves in with you.
Good luck. These are always tough decisions to make.
